Ahmedabad- It is the former capital of Gujarat and is also the judicial capital of Gujarat as the Gujarat High Court has its seat in Ahmedabad. It is also financial capital of Gujarat. It is the fifth largest city and seventh largest metropolitan area of India Since the creation of the state of Gujarat in 1960, Ahmedabad had become a bustling metropolis with beautiful classical and colonial European styled buildings, lining the city’s thoroughfares. The city is witnessing a major construction boom and population increase.
Day 01: AJMER- AHMEDABAD (BY TRAIN 513 KMS APPROX)
After early dinner transfer to Ajmer railway station to board 12990 Ajmer Dadar Exp (AVAILABLE SEATS 75) for Ahmedabad at 19:20 hrs. Overnight journey.
Day 02: AHMEDABAD LOCAL SIGHSEEING.
Arrive Ahmedabad , Transfer to hotel. Check in & rest. (Rooms shall be booked from one day prior in order to secure early morning check-in). Breakfast & lunch would be served. After lunch visit Bhadra Fort is situated in the walled city area of Ahmadabad, India. It was built by Ahmad Shah I in 1411. With its well carved royal palaces, mosques, gates and open spaces, it was renovated in 2014 by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) as a cultural centre for the city. & Maa Bhadrakali Mandir, & Adalaj Stepwell or Rudabai Stepwell is a stepwell located in the village of Adalaj, close to Ahmedabad city and in Gandhinagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It was built in 1498 in the memory of Rana Veer Singh, by his wife Queen Rudadevi. It is a fine example of Indian architecture work. Dinner would be served. Overnight stay in hotel at Ahmedabad.
Day 03: AHMEDABAD- Gir ( 355 km approx)
After breakfast pack up your luggage board & coach & proceed for Gir National park is the only place in the world outside Africa, where the Lion can be seen in its natural habitat. Due to the high density of lions, spotting is very good. Gir is also home to one of the largest Leopard populations in any park in India, making it an excellent place to see big cats of a different kind. Also to be found here are Jungle Cat, Desert Cat, Rusty Spotted Cat, Sambar, Nilgai, Chinkara, Sambar, Black Buck, Four-Horned Antelope, Wild Boar, Indian Flying Fox, Indian Pangolin and Indian Porcupine. Apart from spotting a colourful array of wildlife, Gir is also a great place to interact with local tribes. The main tribe is a nomadic pastoral community called Maldhari, who live in scattered settlements called 'nesses' and it is not unusual to see many head of livestock in the park. Gir is also home to a Negroid community known as Siddis, who are African in origin but speak Gujarati. Hot lunch would be served en route. Thereafter journey continue. Arrive Gir, transfer to Resort/hotel. In evening be a part of Tribal Dance performed by the African Tribes settled in Gujarat. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel / Resort at Gir.
Day 04: JUNGLE SAFARI & HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING SOMNATH & BACK
Early morning get ready for jeep Safari at the National Park (05:00 AM TO 06:00AM). Feel lucky in case you are able to spot wild animals in their natural habitat. Back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast visit Devaliya Lion Interpretation Zone enjoy Safari. Return back to resort. Lunch would be served. After lunch board coach & proceed for Somnath. Arrive Somnath, visit Somnath temple (one of the 12 holy abodes of Shiva) for Pooja & Darshan. Evening enjoy light & sound show. Thereafter board coach & proceed for Sasan Gir. Dinner and overnight stay at Sasan Gir. Somnath - this temple town has a long and chequered History. Even though it is referred to by several other names, names it acquired in the various phases of History, the name Somnath is unrivalled as far as popularity is concerned and understandably so because this small town would have faded to oblivion but for the presence of the magnificent Somnath Temple from which it receives its best known name.
Day 05: GIR-DIU-Gir 74 kms one way.
After breakfast board coach & proceed for Diu is an Island city, district and a part on union territory. Diu is located in the southern region of Saurashtra. Saurashtra region is the western part of Gujarat state in India. Diu is separated from the mainland Gujarat by a tidal creek. With 3beautiful beaches around it, Diu is not a part of Gujarat. Diu is administrated by the central government. It has an area of 40 square kilometers. has one of the most gorgeous beaches in India, renowned for its pristine beauty. The deep blue sea, the sparkling sands, the remnants of the architecture of the colonial period, and the calm. Arrive Diu, visit Diu Fort, St. Paul’s Cathedral. Free time on the beaches. Hot lunch would be served. Evening time at leisure on local market. Return back to Gir. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel at Gir.
Day 06: GIR-AHMEDABAD ( 347 KMS APPROX).
After early breakfast, pack up your luggage, board coach & proceed for Ahmedabad. Hot lunch would be served en route. Arrive Ahmadabad, transfer to railway station to board 12216 DEE GARIBRATH at 19:40hrs for Ajmer. Dinner would be served in train. Overnight journey.
Day 07: Arrive Ajmer at 04:45hrs
transfer to School. TOUR CONCLUDES
