Brahmatal Trek

Day 01: Rishikesh to Lohajung

We'll meet you at the Rishikesh railway station on the first day. The pickup was made early in the morning. An overnight train journey from Delhi might be adequate. From Rishikesh to Lohajung, the upward climb will have you cruising.via mountain passageways that link the lower Himalayan belt of the Kumaon Hills to the Garhwal Hills Despite the spectacular shifting panoramas of the Alps, this will be a strenuous 10-hour journey. For the first few hours, our route will be parallel to the rushing Ganga and Alaknanda rivers. A softy named Pindarriver will soon cross our way. Look for a handful of the best-known tourist destinations nestled among Uttarakhand's magnificent hills. We'll visit Devprayag, Srinagar, and Karanprayag, all well-known hill stations. The magnificent Nanda Ghunti peak will come into view as you reach the last stretch of the trip, near Lohajung. We'll arrive at Lohajung Guest House, our overnight stop, at 5:00 p.m., close to twilight, and just in time for tea! Note: If you don't have any winter apparel or basic equipment, the Lohajung market might come in helpful.

Day 02: Lohajung To Bekaltal

The first day's journey, which will last 5 hours, will begin at Lohajung and take you up a snaky track into the jungle. After a short distance, the woodland will give way to a little settlement known as Mandoli on your left. Fill your bottles and take your first significant break here. The route continues to ascend in relatively moderate bends. A bit farther up, you will come upon the valley where the rivers Kali and Pindari meet. This is the Kali Valley, a spectacular green swath even amid snowy peaks. We'll continue on our journey till we come upon a cluster of mud homes. You will come upon a grove of the rhododendron that blooms brightly from February through March. After passing over this point, continue to the next obvious landmark—a wooden bridge across a brook. This stream is a feasible water source that you may reach by walking down the slope. Crossing over to the other side, you'll come to Begum, a secluded rest stop on the hills overlooking a wide expanse of mountains in the distance. The road then curves toward two additional chattering streams, the latest of which is the Gujrani stream. After crossing the last stream, it's about an hour's journey to the magnificent Bekaltal, which shines quietly in the summer and is partially frozen over in the winter. We'll be camping nearby, near Khopdaliya Lake. Enjoy the peace of this location, which is surrounded by dense oak woodlands.

Day 03: Bekaltal To Brahmatal

The trek today will take you past oak thickets and rhododendrons, which are commonly grown on steep hillsides. Telandi's meadow is located here when you finally arrive at a meadow. The lush expanse of Telandi changes in the winter. a thrill-seeking celebration spread across a large snowfield. The meadow rolls until it reaches 11,500 feet, at which point it begins its steady descent to Brahmatal. A little temple to the left of here has beautiful yellow flags flying in the breeze. Walk down the slope to the temple and continue the path to the 500-meter-away Brahmatal Lake now. The Almora and Nainital valleys will rise and fall. when we go The rising peaks of Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, and other Greater Himalayas may be seen from afar. We'll be camping 500 meters away from the lake, surrounded by the natural beauty of the area. Take 2-3 liters of water with you for today's journey because there are no water stops along the way.

Day 04: Brahmatal to Tilbudi via Brahmatal Pass

Start your day very early in the morning because you will be climbing an uphill path to Brahmatal Lake. Pine trees will welcome you. Rhododendron trees along the path, have their beauty. The zigzag-ascending track will eventually lead you to Brahmatal Lake. On a sunny day, the lake is captivating, and the sunshine enhances its artistic appearance. As you continue walking, you will come upon a little brook produced by melting snow. Every passing crest may deceive you into thinking it is the final ascent. After a short walk, The last ascent to the pass begins as you cross the meadow. It will be a tough trek, but once at the top, you will be rewarded with a spectacular view of Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti. Take your time and create some magnificent photographs that you will cherish for a lifetime. lifetime. As soon as you start descending, you see that the path is narrow. It's not the same as what woke you up. The entire Himalayan range will rotate 180 degrees, revealing peaks like Haukhambha, Mandi, Mana, Nilgiri, Neelkanth, Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, and Maitoli. After such a lengthy descent, you will arrive at the Tilbudi campground, which is surrounded by woodlands on all sides. You'll be staying here for the night.

Day 05: Tilbudi To Lohajung Via Wan

After breakfast, you will begin your descent to Wan, a route lined with oak and rhododendron trees. This is a lovely walk with the chance of taking a variety of picturesque photographs toward the conclusion. After a short walk, you will come across a water source called Chota Tilbundi. After half an hour, you should be able to see Wan's village, which is visible below. It will take you another half hour to get there from here. Reach the road from where TTH will provide transportation to Lohajung.

Day 06: Lohajung To Rishikesh

We'll head to the Lohajung Guest House after a nice night's sleep at our place. Today I returned to Rishikesh. By 6:00 p.m. We will have arrived at our destination.
